It was a scorching hot summer day. We all lined up at the starting line, swinging our boards back and forth. At last, the man's deep voice shouted go! The six of us in the finals started to push like there's no tomorrow. I was out in front, my head was down and the other competitors behind me. I lifted my head to realize I was veering off to the right. I couldn't compensate for the lean and ended up eating the first hay bale. Well I guess the blame is on my half Chinese eyes, but who knows.
Born and raised in Onterrible, I try to film just as much as I skate.For anyone who knows me well, they can confidently say that my jokes and racial slurs about Chinese people are irritating and I will make fun of you until you start to cry, but that’s just because it’s how I role.

1- What’s your full name?
Ryan Jong Sheridan
2- What are your buddies calling you?
I hear Ry, Ry Guy, Sherry or Sherry Baby quite often. But usually, people just call me Sheridan!
3- Where and when were you born?
I was born in Toronto, Onterrible in 1994.
4- When did you start riding skateboards?
Can't recall, but probably around the age of 7?
5- When was your first time on a longboard and what setup were you riding?
Grade 5. I had a Sector 9 OG cloud with Randal RII's and red 70mm nine balls...not that I knew what any of that was back then.
6- Who were your early downhill influences if any?
Anybody who told me to grow a pair and go downhill.
7- Best spot you skated?
This road that weaves through a canyon just outside the family house in Palm Springs, California.
8- What is your ideal session like?
Anything that involves learning something new or going bigger. Ideally involving sweat, blood, and Dr. Pepper.
9- Who’s your favorite rider to watch on video?
Anybody from Onterrible and anybody featured on Skatehousemedia.com

Anything with noodres, I am half Chinese after all.

Dr. Pepper
14- What music makes you want to go skate?
Anything really. A little bit of this, a little bit of that.
15- Any musical guilty pleasure you are ashamed of?
"What Makes You Beautiful" by One Direction. Don't hate, its catchy!
16- Can you drop in a vert ramp?
You wouldn't catch me dead dropping in a vert ramp. I should learn though.
17- What is your favorite setup right now and why?
KebbeK Niko - Paris 180's - Pink Powerballs. It's my favourite board because its red and is the only thing that doesn't match everything else I have in my skate bag.
18- What’s that little thing you do to your setups that makes them feel way better?
Never ever change my bearings. Its the key to going very fast! I think I've been rocking a set of Reds for 5 years now?
19- What's the best race/event you've attended and why?
Prince Edward County Gravity Fest 2011, because it was my first IGSA race and I lost! Best weekend of my life.
